Hotel Amerika 2006 Poetry and Fiction Contests
Winners in each genre will receive $1000 and be considered for publication.
Contest Guidelines
Contestants may enter works in more than one genre. Send no more than one story (twenty double-spaced pages maximum) or one to three poems per entry.
Each entry (per genre) requires a reading fee of $20. The fee entitles the entrant to a one-year subscription. Make checks payable to Hotel Amerika.
Submissions will be read anonymously. Entrant’s name should appear ONLY in the cover letter. Cover letter must include name, address, phone number, email address, and title(s) and genre for each entry.
No previously published works or works forthcoming elsewhere will be accepted.
Simultaneous submissions are acceptable, but the reading fee is nonrefundable.
SASE must accompany entries for notification of winners. Manuscripts will not be returned.
All entries must be postmarked by January 31, 2006. No late entries will be accepted.
